The Tarentaise region in the Northern Alps is the epicenter of the Alps! It's bordered by 4 massifs: the Beaufortain, the Mont-Blanc, the Vanoise and the Lauzière, and we're based right in the middle, gravitating like a star, which offers us infinite possibilities for good skiing. The ultimate advantage is being able to adapt to the conditions. At any time of the season, you're sure to get an eyeful. Landscapes? Magical. A handful of glaciers, peaks over 3000m, mountains sprinkled with fir trees, valleys, coombs, chalets, and last but not least: vineyards and cows to fill our table with wine and Tomme de Savoie (that's important, don't you think?).
In the evening? We're comfortably installed in our hotel in shared rooms of 4 max, with the option of taking your own room or a double.
We take care of everything: accommodation, meals, good ski spots... And you just enjoy!
Welcome to the train station of Briançon, or Albertville, then departure with our minibus.
You’re in ski gear for the date.
Meeting with the guide and departure by minibus for the Tarentaise. It’s the first day. Relax. The set up, the distribution of the equipment can take a little time, but do not worry, skiing, you will do a lot during your stay.

This is an example of a ski touring program in Tarentaise. The weather, snow conditions and the level of the participants may cause the guide to modify the latter or to make certain routes in a different order. We ask you to respect his choices. Ski touring can take place in France and Italy. We may also change accommodation, in the same range, for logistical or availability issues.
We always do our best, but we can't guarantee the exact time of arrival at the train station (due to traffic or weather conditions). Therefore we strongly advise you to buy train tickets that can easily be modified. If you're travelling by car, we'll meet you at the arrival point, or at one of the drop of points where you'll be able to leave your car for the entire trip.

Free public parking can be found in Briançon (unattended) or just in front of our accommodation.
The slopes may have some short steep passages. You should be at ease with ski touring techniques and skiing on all types of snow. We may also ski on glacier terrain. You should master uphill kick turns without hesitation.
Good physical condition is required, some uphill sections may have to be done on foot. Ascents and descents vary from 800 to 1000 metres per day. Depending on the chosen itinerary, there may be two outings per day. If you're eager you can continue skiing, if you're tired you can rest and relax.
Good to know: If you don't have the required level, the guide might ask you to leave the group for your own safety, that of the group or the well-being of the group as a whole. Don't hesitate to ask us if you have any doubts!

Security advice: avalanche airbag backpacks are highly recommended.
They help to stay on the surface in case of avalanche and minimize the risk of burial. Our guides use them and we highly recommend you to opt for high quality and reliable gear. If you don't have an avalanche airbag we rent them out at a very competitive price.
If you don't have the adequate equipment for the trip, don't worry and travel light: we rent out the required gear and hand it over at the start of the trip ! Our equipment is relatively new, if not brand new, of good quality and adapted to your choice of activity.
