This is an example of a ski touring program in the Dômes de miage in the Mont Blanc massif. Weather and snow conditions, as well as the level of participants, may lead the guide to modify the program or to do certain itineraries in a different order. We ask you to respect his choices. We may also have to change accommodation within the same range, for logistical or availability reasons.
In the event of changes to the 'Uses and Customs' defined by the local guide companies, who consider the number of clients per guide to be reasonable, so that the guide can supervise you safely, Azimut respects these changes, even if they occur after the tours have gone on sale. These cases are rare and often linked to exceptional mountain conditions, and you may be asked to pay compensation if the number of participants per guide drops.
Please be wearing your ski outfit upon arrival.
We recommend you to get tickets that can be changed.
Getting there
The slopes may have some short steep sections. You should be at ease with ski touring techniques and skiing on all types of snow. We may also ski on glacier terrain. You should master uphill kick turns without hesitation.
Good physical condition is required, some uphill sections may have to be done on foot. Ascents and descents vary from 800 to 1400 metres per day.
Good to know: if you don't have the level required, the guide may ask you to leave for the well-being of the rest of the group if necessary. If any doubt, please do not hesitate to ask us !
