This magnificent snowshoeing holiday starts from our warm and comfortable lodge. Here, tucked away at the bottom of the valley, the road closed by the snow for the winter, our lodge awaits you. When you arrive in the cold and snow, under the stars... You've got it! The lights, the log fire, the atmosphere you discover through the windows, you're in the right place, you're expected, it's all going to work out!
We're there to share an activity and meet some nice people, but the programme leaves you plenty of time to relax: we meet at 10am, when the sun comes out and caresses the Lodge. Martine, a secretary in a major oil group, can check her emails, while Pascal, a crazy trailer, tries to break his Strava record and Kilian, the post-adolescent of the group, is still dipping his sandwiches at 9.55am... Each to his own. In the afternoon, it's the same, we avoid too much shade, we're not on a survival course... We get back quite early, sit around the fire and have a good time before getting our health back at the table.
Welcome in the early morning at one of our meeting points, presentation of the week by your guide and distribution of equipment. Short transfer to the hamlet of Le Laus, then a gentle climb up the valley below the Izoard to reach the chalets of the same name. Behind them, a vast cirque opens up, with Peygus and Pic de Beaudouis in view... A short tour of the cirque and a possible climb to the foot of the Col des Ourdeis before descending by the same route. Transfer back to the Lodge. The Lodge offers a small aperitif to help you get to know each other and get off to a good start.

Relaxing, reading in the lounge? Or a lively aperitif in the bar?
