Supervision

State certified mountain bike guide, selected by Azimut.

We work with a great team of state certified guides. We choose them mainly for their sympathy, their passion, their pedagogy, their sense of organization. We are very attentive, we move forward with them and we make sure that their working conditions and remuneration are the best.

Carrying

A light bag (stipulated in the material and equipment section) just for the day's business, water, sometimes a picnic, some snacks and repair material. The bulk of the personal belongings will be transferred by us to the accommodation.

Travel during the trip
Azimut minibus from one of the meeting points and throughout the trip. As well as making it easier to get there and get on with the trip, travelling together in a minibus is a great way to chat, sleep and listen to music! When the trip involves luggage transfers, it is possible to travel in the minibus on days when you feel too tired or for any other reason.

Clothing

This list of equipment includes a series of advice on equipment but does not oblige you to have the latest equipment. In case you want to re-equip yourself or complete your equipment, take advantage of our advice to have the right equipment, light, warm and comfortable. Good equipment contributes to the success of a stay!

For the head

- Sunglasses and clear glasses for undergrowth or overcast days (it is important to protect your eyes). Photochromic glasses adapt to the luminosity and vary from index 1 to 3 or 2 to 4 to optimize visibility between light and shadow. Very practical.

- A thin cap or buff, to put under the helmet in cold weather.

For the body

- Technical underwear: long-sleeved top and tights to provide warmth under the pants. Tip: Merino wool has the advantage of being very breathable and antibacterial, so it retains less odor than synthetic materials. Think about it if you need to re-equip yourself.

- Lightweight fleece jacket / Synthetic down jacket with a hood to slip under the Gore Tex and provide extra warmth during breaks / Jacket with a waterproof and breathable membrane such as Gore Tex or Soft Shell, lightweight and compressible to reduce the amount of space in the backpack.

- Mountain bike shorts

- Tights to wear under the shorts in case of cool weather.

- Lightweight gloves (fleece or Soft Shell) / Warm gloves with waterproof and breathable membrane like Gore Tex / Silk undergloves.

- Swimsuit, it takes up so little space in the luggage that it would be a shame not to have it in case of need! Avoid shorts, as they are not accepted in swimming pools and baths.

- Recommended : a spare T-shirt in the bag (appreciated after a big sweat on the way up)

For the feet

- Bike socks. Merinos wool has the advantage of being very breathable and antibacterial, so it retains less odor than synthetic materials. Think about it if you need to re-equip yourself.

- Slippers or Crocs recommended for the evening.

Toilet bag & first aid kit

- Toilet kit with personal kit

- We advise you to use the Iffremont website to build your first aid kit

Luggage & miscellaneous

- 1L water bottle, thermos or Camelback, pocket knife, duck tape (resistant stoch), sun cream index 50.

- A 90L duffle bag, to be left at the lodge. Avoid rigid suitcases.
